Life Drawing

Figure drawing is the art of sketching the human figure, often done live with a nude model who is standing or sitting in a pose. This process helps the artist capture the essence of the human body's musculature, texture, and postures.

While no instruction will be offered, drawing the human form is an age-old practice and this “LIFE DRAWING” session is strictly for educational practice. The studio space will be shared with artists of all ages.

  • Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the Life Drawing session.

  • Drawing horses, easels, tables, and chairs will be available for Life Drawing participants to use.

  • Participants are responsible for bringing their own art materials and are to clean up after themselves at the end of the session.

  • Any art materials are allowed, except mediums that require any kind of solvents.

  • Artists younger than 18 years of age that wish to draw the model must have permission from a guardian prior to the session.

(Please pick up a consent form at Artists Guild.)
